No new COVID-19 cases reported in Việt Nam in past 24 hours

HÀ NỘI — Việt Nam confirmed no COVID- 一 九 new cases on Saturday afternoon with the total infections standing at  二 七0. 

The latest cases reported on Friday were two Vietnamese students returning from Japan who were quarantined upon arrival. 

On Saturday afternoon, five COVID- 一 九 patients, including four Vietnamese and one Danish national, were discharged from National Hospital for Tropical Diseases Campus  二, raising the number of recoveries to  二 二 五. All of them will be kept in isolation for the next  一 四 days. 

The country on Saturday reported five people who had previously been given the all-clear tested positive again while still under quarantine post-treatment. Two of them are currently being treated at the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases while two others have been admitted to Quảng Ninh Province Hospital Number  二 and Bình Thuận Province Traditional Medicine Hospital. 

Three seriously ill patients numbered  一 九,  九 一 and  一 六 一 are undergoing intensive treatment.

The  一 六 一st patient, an  八 八-year-old woman who contracted the virus at Bạch Mai Hospital, is on a ventilator, but doctors said her condition is improving. 

The  一 九th patient, a  六 四-year-old woman being treated at Hà Nội's National Hospital for Tropical Diseases, has suffered lung damage but her oxygen levels are improving. She has received extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) three times. 

The  九 一st patient, a British pilot, who was reportedly infected with the SARS-CoV- 二 in HCM City, is still suffering from blood coagulation disorder. Chest X-rays have shown worsening lung conditions. 

Nearly  五 五,000 people are currently under quarantine and having their health statuses monitored nationwide.
